As many noted here, I thought that I was booking directly with the hotel. This company charged my credit card $33 for the booking although they did nothing. This was for a business trip and when I contacted the hotel because I did not receive a receipt, they said that since it was not booked directly with them, they could not give me a receipt. That HotelReservations was suppose to send me a receipt after I checked out. When I contacted the HotelReservations, it was like talking to a robot. I requested a receipt and they said it would take 24 hours to send it. They were suppose to send it after I checked out of the hotel, but did not do it. I will ensure when I book in future that it is not with this fraudulent company that charges $33 for a booking yet does nothing for the fee. If I could give them less than 1 star I would, but you have to give a rating so I gave the lowest possible.
Tip for consumers:
The website for HotelReservations is misleading. I typed in the hotel name and it takes you to their booking services, but it makes it appear like you are booking directly with the hotel. I would not have known that I booked through their website if I had not had to call to get a receipt. It's fraudulent.
