BooksRun is one of those sites where I find I have to keep on my toes and sadly I do not always perform well. I do not honestly remember the details and do not have a copy of my message to you, but I recently closed a buyback order without taking advantage of your 5% promotion. I immediately messaged you asking if you could apply the promotion for me because of my oversight. The reply was some nonsense about you could not do so because I had sold the books through some third-party website. I have always sold books to you directly from your own website. Anyway that's fine. It is not the first time I have forgotten to enter the promo code.
My most recent buyback closure was following the one I referenced above. In this case, I wasted $1.89 on insurance. I must have clicked the button accidentally. At least, I have not done that before. I never understood the point of buying insurance for FedEx which as far as I know always provides insurance up to $100, and I see nothing on your website indicating that is not the case with BooksRun.
We are not talking about huge sums of money here, so from a practical sense these issues are less than minor. However, in my old age, I seem to get more easily irritated.
Now I have to go through the process of picking out sidewalks, boats, bicycles or zombies on the recaptcha process.

We sell used books to a number of buyback/resell online companies. Sellbackyour book is our favorite overall. In the last year or so, we have sold them over 400 orders. That many orders with thousands of books in total will obviously result in a few occasions where we were not fully pleased. However, overall we find this company accepts many titles, is liberal and generous in its condition grading, usually pays as much or more than most other companies and does so very quickly.
We especially like the option to have returned any and all rejected books at almost no cost although in truth very few books (probably no more than 1 or 2 % are rejected). The most consistent problem we have had is the same as a few other people mentioned-books disappearing from the cart. Even if they do not disappear, we cannot close them on the iphone where they were scanned. We can close them on another device, but frequently the cart does not show up at all on other devices. Customer service is not their strong suit, and we have been unable to resolve this issue. Sometimes they respond to messages, sometimes not. Ziffit, for example, has many more problems but has much better customer service in addressing them.
Still, in summary, we enthusiastically support this company.
