Hi just like most people on this forum, i have been a victim too. I had paid for my reservation in Budapest well in advance. I arrived in Budapest on 13th of August 2016 and on reaching the hotel was shocked to know that our reservations ( 2 rooms for 4 nights) were cancelled without our knowledge. Budapest was the last leg of our holiday. Unfortunately there was a rock concert in Budapest because of which budapest was sold out. I spent 7 hours on the road trying to get a hotel room because i had my mother (59 years old) an aunt ( 65 years old) and her husband ( 68 years old) with me. Finally found one hostel with 4 bunks in a room. Felt completely robbed.
