on 9/3/16Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
Criminals - had to file dispute via credit card company for my refund
My loss was $365... a medical emergency arose--my husband was hospitalized. I originally booked online so went back online to cancel within 7 days. They said I had to cancel within 9 days online. Sad experience and one that left a bad taste.
They kept my entire $300+, even tho I was only one day late in cancelling because of a medical issue.
