why does clothing take so long to ship. I am looking in the catalog for clothes to take on vacation (its may 4th and they wont ship until mid june?

Made a multiple purchase. Returned 2 items. It took 2-1/2 months to receive a refund. The refund was less than what I paid for the items. Why is that?
