How do I make a claim for a refund of the amount I paid to Hoteling.com in May 2016 for a room at the Grand Aston in January 2017. The money was taken in June but when I arrived at the Hotel in Bali they said the voucher was not valid as the booking had been cancelled. There had been no notification or email from anyone. I had to pay again to stay, (not much choice after flying from Perth) and it was all very distressing. The booking was done in good faith and I am very disappointed to say the least. Noelene M
I've paid for bookings for 3 rooms around US700. in March 2016 through hoteling.com for Feb 2017 but just discovered the company was closed down. I checked with the hotel and learned that my bookings are still valid but the hoteling.com hadn't settled my bookings yet. Please help and advise the way I can chase and claim for refund.
Has anyone ever gotten a refund from hoteling? I just found out myself that my reservation was cancelled and have no email whatsoever to at least use.

Hi just like most people on this forum, i have been a victim too. I had paid for my reservation in Budapest well in advance. I arrived in Budapest on 13th of August 2016 and on reaching the hotel was shocked to know that our reservations ( 2 rooms for 4 nights) were cancelled without our knowledge. Budapest was the last leg of our holiday. Unfortunately there was a rock concert in Budapest because of which budapest was sold out. I spent 7 hours on the road trying to get a hotel room because i had my mother (59 years old) an aunt ( 65 years old) and her husband ( 68 years old) with me. They cancelled our reservation without telling us and without paying our money back. We lost for 3 days in Venice 727,76. You know our bank account, please use it to refund us because our money is not yours.
Hi. I'm writing in regards of my booking Ref/ Number 8096877 - Al Shamas Plaza Hotel in Dubai. From 22of August 4 nights. Total payment as per my Bank of $412 Australian Dollars have been taken from my account on 04 June. Hoteling.com sent the booking to the hotel but the payment never rich Al Shamas Plaza Hotel in Dubai. I and the hotel try to contact Hoteling.com directly by the phone to found out why you guys sent the booking request and do not transfer any payment for nearly three months -booking/ref 8096877. Your phone number listed on the Accommodation Vouchers parentally experience some difficulty and you guys do not answering any phone calls 0044(0) 1342 307091. What's going on? I will never use them and they didn't give me a refund because it has to be before 7 days I have never heard of a 7 day policy and I had a medical reason that I couldn't go

After my personal experience with them, I would never use Hoteling and I recommend that you don't get into trouble with them

It took a few days for the reservation to go through, but the hotel has confirmed my reservation. If you are willing to go through the hassle for the cheaper price, then best of luck. I would not use Hoteling again.

They are legit. They screwed up my reservation which took a couple days to be confirmed at the hotel I booked, but they also made it right. It was a good deal. A bit of a headache, but a good deal.

From what I hear, the hotel should get confirmation right away once you book it shouldn't take more than 24 hours for your reservation to go through to the hotel because they need to show that the room is booked. There are so many other legitimate booking sites out there it's worth the extra $50 to book with them and not have the hassle of disputing fraudulent charges and waiting 3 months for you to get your money back.

Don't do it! They double charged me, then canceled the wrong reservation causing me to have to pay double for the same room! After trying to explain what they did about 15 times they still didn't unflderstand! And the reservation they canceled was my moms which was in a different name and paid by a different card! Also customer service was very rude and not too smart!

After I was contacted by Hoteling, the issue was resolved. Their process and payment takes a few days to go through. I have called the hotel I booked and everything has been confirmed/ paid. Hoteling were fast to respond to me. I still probably wouldn't recommend them, would rather pay a little more and book through the hotel or a well know agent. Good luck!
