How do I make a claim for a refund of the amount I paid to Hoteling.com in May 2016 for a room at the Grand Aston in January 2017. The money was taken in June but when I arrived at the Hotel in Bali they said the voucher was not valid as the booking had been cancelled. There had been no notification or email from anyone. I had to pay again to stay, (not much choice after flying from Perth) and it was all very distressing. The booking was done in good faith and I am very disappointed to say the least. Noelene M
I've paid for bookings for 3 rooms around US700. in March 2016 through hoteling.com for Feb 2017 but just discovered the company was closed down. I checked with the hotel and learned that my bookings are still valid but the hoteling.com hadn't settled my bookings yet. Please help and advise the way I can chase and claim for refund.
Has anyone ever gotten a refund from hoteling? I just found out myself that my reservation was cancelled and have no email whatsoever to at least use.
How can i get my money back!
Hi just like most people on this forum, i have been a victim too. I had paid for my reservation in Budapest well in advance. I arrived in Budapest on 13th of August 2016 and on reaching the hotel was shocked to know that our reservations ( 2 rooms for 4 nights) were cancelled without our knowledge. Budapest was the last leg of our holiday. Unfortunately there was a rock concert in Budapest because of which budapest was sold out. I spent 7 hours on the road trying to get a hotel room because i had my mother (59 years old) an aunt ( 65 years old) and her husband ( 68 years old) with me. They cancelled our reservation without telling us and without paying our money back. We lost for 3 days in Venice 727,76. You know our bank account, please use it to refund us because our money is not yours.
Hi. I'm writing in regards of my booking Ref/ Number 8096877 - Al Shamas Plaza Hotel in Dubai. From 22of August 4 nights. Total payment as per my Bank of $412 Australian Dollars have been taken from my account on 04 June. Hoteling.com sent the booking to the hotel but the payment never rich Al Shamas Plaza Hotel in Dubai. I and the hotel try to contact Hoteling.com directly by the phone to found out why you guys sent the booking request and do not transfer any payment for nearly three months -booking/ref 8096877. Your phone number listed on the Accommodation Vouchers parentally experience some difficulty and you guys do not answering any phone calls 0044(0) 1342 307091. What's going on? They refund our money after the booking didn't go through. They were so good to us...

I as well had good luck with them. I booked my trip before stumbling upon these reviews and started to panic. But they've been good so far. And no... I do not work for them.

Do not do it. Simply look for suppliers of your requirement with only good reviews.
Hotelling is not one of them.

I say yes,
After I had to contact Hoteling's customer service, my reservation went through just fine, and Hoteling's price was approximately half of what every other website was charging for the same room.
And no, (Dan H.) I do not work for anyone involved with "running this scam". Some people actually post positive reviews because they had a positive experience.

I booked our Sept holiday last week and received confirmation in 48 hours, I would like to point out that I DO NOT WORK FOR Hoteling.com but I have found out that they are an agent, this is what was printed on the last page of my confirmation. "Hoteling is acting in its capacity as an agent for Lowcostbeds.com AG, who have made your booking with HotelBeds for
Booking ref HotelBeds 1375981___51"
All I can say is that I got great service, but like you I too panicked when reading these reviews but I can only say that I had a good experience with them and I would happily use them again.

No go some where else. They jack up the prices and sometimes you don't even have a reservation. Run!

From my experience. No. Their cancellation policy sucks. There was definently a mix up by the web site involved. Utilmetly the original host refunded my reservation part that hoteling would not. I will not trust this web site again

NOOOOOO! Run as fast as you can. Feel fortunate that you checked here before booking, if you did. Just read the reviews. 90% of the users tell you they've been ripped off! The positive few are likely from the people running this scam.

Yes I think so. I was very unhappy with this org to start with however in the ned they did honor their commitment and refund me my money as requested
