I went into this post office facility and when i went in, the postal clerk was sitting at the counter with her feet up and watching her phone and either playing a game or texting, so i handed her my mail and she said what to want me to do? (really) while she was handling the mail, she was still looking at her phone and doing my transaction. She never and i mean never smiles when doing a transaction and she acts like she is doing you a favor instead of a service. What has the postal service been reduced to? If she does not like her job that go somewhere you can look at your phone and put your feet up all day. What a disgrace, in my opinion.
And to boot they always deliver the mail to the wrong address and the people there do not know how to sort.and the mail is always late.

Just to preface this review i just want everyone to know that i am not a big fan of lowes or their competition, we went there yesterday, my husband who is disabled needed a electric scooter to get around and i was very very impressed that all of their scooters were plugged in and actually worked, when i was getting him settled in one, one employee came around and asked me if i needed help and i said, no thank you.the place was cleaner than the competition and we had some trouble finding what my husband wanted, the employees were so courteous and kind and stopped to answer our question and point us in the right direction. Hubby was going down a isle with his scooter and there was a employee on a ladder and a display of whatever and he could not pass, so i decided to move the display and this employee got off her ladder and said that i was not allowed to move the display and she stopped what she was doing and got done off the ladder and moved the display. Such politeness, not like the competition whose place is cluttered and dirty and dangerous and you ask a question of the competition and they just walk on by. All the employees at Lowes were the utmost professional and helpful. Kudos to the employees.

Back in 2022 i wrote a bad review about this business, BUT went into the store yesterday because hubby was craving pretzels and we were in the area, WHAT A BIG CHANGE! Place is nice and clean and its looks like new owners and they are/where so pleasant everything was so nice and organized and the pretzels were/are so good and made the way they should be!. Have a hankering for pretzels, try bernies in aldan pa!

Went to bernies pretzels yesterday because we had a craving for those delicious pretzels, located in aldan pa. Well we were both disappointed, the place looked a mess, but i guess all pretzel places look like that. The people making the pretzels did not wear gloves and the most of the pretzels were burnt and the two empoyees did not look happy. They did not have any nugguts and this was around 10:30,11 in the am. wow really sad to see that bernies pretzels has really gone down hill. If you are looking for a good pretzel, go to the pretzel shop on baltimore pike in springfield.

place has really gone down hill. really disappointed in them

What a awesome place to take your business, quaint business located on springfield road, there are only three people in the office and the head guy, ed quintas, they are so awesome. They are so nice and tolerant of seniors like us. lol, this is what 'good neighbors" should be and are. They are young, but at my age, everyone on the earth is young and they are experienced and polite and professional. They take the time to answer your questions and hear your concerns about insurance. Yes, the office is small, but these people are gems in the insurance industry and a pleasure to do business with.

My local state farm agent is not a good person, he did not work with me to get us some discounts on a auto insurance policy and to add insult to injury he had the guts (i want to use another word, but not here) to send to me some paperwork requesting that i obtain medicare insurance with him when i turn 65! Our rates just went up and i called him months ago with no response from him whatsoever. If state farm is a:good neighbor" i would hate to see the bad ones. Go somewhere else in delaware county and stay away from the state farm on west chester pike. These good neighbors are the worst

Purchased a recliner/rocking chair two years ago and was talked into the 5 year warranty that we were told "covers everything". Well guess what it does not. As you guessed we needed service and i was told that broke was not covered. I then called the manager at lazy boy in springfield and he gave me a song and dance, that he was on vacation for 10 days and this and that. Well he was not. Then i called a second time to get my 5 year warranty pro-rated and he told me that i could not get my money back!, and i could not even get my contract with them pro-rated to get at least some of the monies back. When you first go in they (salesman) climb all over you like you are their long lost relative who just came into money and then you get told un-truths from the staff and the manager, who again keeps telling me he was on vacation and that he is new to this location. Yea, right. I think that these salesmen are recruited from used car salesman who lost their job and former politicians who are no longer active in the political arena. Contacting the main company is a waste of time also. I guess that some of it is our fault too for being seniors and having a husband on dialysis and ESRD, who wanted a nice recliner to spend his last days in and be comfortable and thinking that these people would help us and not screw us over. Again be careful because the manager just might have returned from vacation and was not there when the deal was made. Along with several excuses. When you are in springfield pa (delaware county) and need furniture, please pass by lazy boy and go directly to bobs.
If you do go to lazy boy, WATCH OUT. Everyone in there is not telling the truth

After contacting the office of the attorney general and finally got some action and after giving them my correct address and building number several times it was determined that yes indeed they did send my package to the wrong building and it was 'borrowed" by one of the residents. Getting verbal apologizing from the main office, they sent me flowers as a follow up...they delivered the flowers to the wrong address...they can keep their flowers which someone else has...

Got sent a package from my brother who is wheelchair bound containing some personal items, including some precious pictures of my deceased brother who died from cancer. UPS is saying the package arrived on 10/18/2023. No it did not!so i filed a claim and then adrianna called me from the phillipines and said there is a pic on file where the driver said it was and adrianna from the phillipines said they had picture on file where the driver dropped it off at. She lied, the picture was not sent. Then the driver threw on the floor of my complex a "follow up" where he said he dropped it off at. Then i had to call jules at *******057 who told me in a round about way that i was SOL and to file a theft claim. The apartment office checked their cameras and no delivery was made on the 18th of oct. So what if i file a claim with the police and the package shows up, then i am arrested for making a false claim. But does UPS care? No they don't. These morons and lackluster employees and drivers dont care. They are liars and lazy butts. UPS wants me to replace the pictures of my deceased brother. How can i. They are idiots and good for nothings. Do not ever use UPS for your packages. The only thing that they deliver is anguish and aggrevation and heartbreak PS. found out that the driver delivered my package to the wrong complex, the buildings are clearly marked on the side, which building it is. Guess that he was in a hurry

i will never use UPS again and if i were you, i would not. they do not offer and refunds or value for things los. if i could give them no stars i would

This dollar store has really rude and ignorant employees. Ok first when are they going to change their name to "now selling $5.00 items and dollar and 25 store" we went into the dollar and 25 cent store last week and they changed to now self check out. Since my husband is disabled and just getting done with dialysis we waited in the long line for self-checkout and there were no employees at the self checkout to help those who are technically challenged, so a employee comes by and is working at a regular register and we asked him if we could just go through and he rudely said no, we do not do that anymore! He would not even do this as a common courtesy for someone who is disabled. What a jerk he was. So if you are looking for a job where you do not have to work, then apply at this dollar and 25 cent store in broomall. What rude employees! Ps. They do not even have a handicapped front of the building, they have a just a big step you have to 'Climb; up
Meaning to say that its not quite handicapped accessible. To advoid the step you have to walk a little further down to go to the store. Again these people are so rude

Upon visiting my local dollar tree store in secane pa. On saturday i found much to my disappointment that everything in the dollar store is no longer a dollar! Items in the store are now $1.25! I know that this may sound cheap of me, but i feel that this title of dollar store is misleading and false advertising. They should change their name to $1.25 store. All consumers should be aware of this change. (no pun intended)

Tip for consumers:
just be careful and i realize that the dollar stores are franchised out, so this may not apply to all of their stores, but again let the consumer be aware.

We had to get blood work done outside of the hospital and to tell the truth when i read the reviews on yelp concerning Quest i was apprehensive about going there. So we went and we had appointments for early morning around eight so we got there early and the place was not crowded, for a wednesday, the place was clean and orderly. We used the kiosk to sign in and that was easy for non-technical seniors like us. so we waited which was about thirty minutes and then my husband was called in first and then i waited for about five minutes and was taken back to a cubie besides him. When i waved to him, the nurse waved me into the cubie where he was. By the way, the nurse, whose name is miss karen, was soooo polite and professional and we got to talking about breakfast and such.the drawing of the blood did not hurt at all. When we both were all done, we looked at our arms, which some professionals leave a black and blue mark, the only spot that was there is a little red mark and no pain whatsoever! Awesome professionalism and being so courteous from the person who called us into the cubies and the nurse. Thumbs up.

Really not too keen on wells fargo, we went to two locations up and down the baltimore pike because we had business to attend to and our week was busy with dialysis and other projects and we found out that wells fargo is not open on a saturday anymore. Being seniors we do our financial business the old fashion way, not really trusting this "new technology with cell phones, we do not own cell phones, that is how old fashioned we are and i guess way behind on the times. And again i realize that the tellers need a break from all the work.but again did i miss something that wells fargo advertised about not needing to be open on saturdays anymore?

Recently had a appointment with ear, nose and throat doctors located at lankenau medical center who i found out are not associated with main line health. When i called to ask if they would bill me for my $40.00 copay because at that time i did not have it. My ear has been bothering me since june so i decided to see them. What a mistake. When i called to ask them ahead of time to send me a bill, our finances were already divided out for the month. I was told, NO we will not bill you for the copay, you need to have the copay with you when you come in. Well, since i did not have it, i cancelled my appointment and will have to find another doctor. Again these people are NOT associated with Main Line Health obviously, since Main Line Heath would work with me and my financial resources. These people put profit before your health!

First of all you might say we are cheapskates because we are seniors and on a very tight budget. We had some bird droppings on our car, and besides being on a very tight budget we are both physically disabled. So instead of taking our car to a expensive car wash, we "drizzled" some dawn on the bad spots and when it rained that very night, mind you, it did not rain hard, the droppings were gone the next morning! Mind you, you may have to coordinate the drizzling of the dawn with what the weather might be that night or day, but dawn works.

We live in a (an) apartment complex and we kind of had a oil stain on our newly power-washed balcony and were concern about the stain, it was from oil that we used to deep fat fry some food. We tried everything that we could think of to get rid of the stain. Then a bright idea came to mind, so after a three months time, we decided to go to the dollar and a half store and purchased what we could, being seniors and on a tight budget, small bottles of dawn, so we soaked the concrete stain with a little bit of brushing of the unsightly stain., let it sit overnight. The next day we scrubbed it again a little bit and then washed the suds off and wow, did that stain disappear! My husband and i were so amazed how that dawn took away that three month old stain off the concrete and make it look clean again. Once we can afford a big bottle of dawn, we will purchase it and keep it for our little "mess ups"

Yes i know i keep writing bad reviews about this complex and deservedly so. Especially if you are handicapped. They have parking spaces for the disabled residents that are up on a slight hill! How is a resident with heart issues and mobility issues suppose to walk on this hill and get to their cars, even so if they do make it, there is still able bodied residents parking in these spaces, with no help from the office, and the main location in k of p. Especially on the weekends when no one is at the office. No tow truck even though the signs state there is a tow services. The complex is still dirty with dirty hall rugs and laundry areas and old faded paint that has not been painted since years and years ago. Dirty laundry areas still exist and its just pitiful yes i wish that we could move. It never used to be this way thank you

Westover companies have many complexes in and around the phila, delaware area and i am sure that they are not like this property. They have rules and regulations but they let the residents go about and do whatever they want to do. The cleaning people do not clean the insides of the complex properly and just do a so so job of cleaning up around the complex. They do not have intelligent people to do their business as far as collecting rent is concerned and most of your complaints fall by the wayside. The maintainence staff is awesome and competant in what they are doing. The office staff will charge you for every utility that they can think of.

The doctor had ordered cpap supplies 4 weeks ago and during those weeks, we were finally connected to someone who finally found the order after 4 weeks. Then when setting up the supplies, was told that the copay needed to be paid. How can the copay need to be paid when the supplies were not delivered yet and was not even billed to the insurance yet! They had our card on file and wanted to bill us and we told them not to use the card on file, which the young man was very eager to do! (use our card on file) we as senior citizens, number one do not do business without either some sort of receipt sent to us and we certainly did not want to pay without the insurance being billed first. Suppose the copay was not what apria quoted. We then received a call from the billing manager, who offered no help to us at all. So we wound up not getting the cpap supplies that are very much needed. If you need supplies of any other kind, please do not use apria. Find another durable medical equipment company. If i could give them no stars, i would.

I can only say good things about this law firm located in bala cynwyd, pa, the lawyers really care about your well being and fight for you. They also have a great team of lawyers who deal in workers comp cases. They are very thorough in dealing with the "opposition". They are very detailed in getting all the facts and keeping you updated about what is going on with your case. The secretarial staff are also awesome. So stop shopping around for lawyers, make this your only stop for legal representation.

One of my relatives recently had to go to riddle hospital in media for a colonoscopy and we went into the new pavillion that they built. First we registered and then when my relative was called back, i went with them. Well, first of all, since its new i guess the area that we had to wait in was clean and the sign in was conducted in a orderly fashion and when we went back, the nurses there were awesome and bright and cheery for a early morning procedure. They were all very professional and courteous. I was then told to wait in the waiting room which was clean, and had plenty of seating arrangements. I went into the back and saw a couch in which to rest myself and waited. They let you know how your loved one is doing by a ticket that they give you and you can look at a screen and see where your loved one is during the procedure. Once the procedure is done you are then taking back to another area where the nurses explain what happened and give you your discharge instructions. Awesome, and hats off and kudos to dr. william ayers who performed the procedure. Awesome doctor and so professional

Happen to stumble across this eye care center when i needed emergency eye care and exam. It is run by a father and daughter of optometrists these people are awesome! They do not rush through a exams, they actually take the time to exam you on a individual basis and explain everything that is going on. They even send a letter to you once your exam is completed!the only thing is and this is a good thing, don't expect to be out of the office, one, two, three, these optometrist take their time and you can also get as a additional charge to you the patient, extra eye care screenings. It is worth the money. So if you need eye care in delaware county, these are the go to people.

It saddens me to write a review of this kidney center in wynnewood pa. Husband goes to dialysis three times a week and this morning, we, along with 15 other patients waited for a nurse to open up the building, which is their rules, well, no nurse showed up and we were told that they contacted other nurses and even the management of fresenious and no one answered their call to duty!. Seniors who paid for paratransit were left stranded and the patients who come later in the day, i assume were not even contacted. Is this how you run a dialysis unit. They tell us to prepare for emergency situations and they, themselves cannot even prepare and left everyone who took paratransit stranded. The patients who take paratransit have to pay for the ride to and from the dialysis unit. So there money is wasted. What a awful way to conduct a dialysis facility. I guess all the nurses and managment were at home preparing for the big superbowl game and to heck with our medical needs.this is the only time that this dialysis unit has disappointed us and let the other patients down also. Their response, take your loved one to the hospital, but who has the money to pay a $400.00 copay for the emergency room with everyone being on a tight budget.

We received a catalog from this company and i am in the process of trying to let them know that we no longer wish to have their catalogs sent to us. we never ordered or solicited anything from this company. Now i am in the process of asking them to please stop sending the catalogs to us, but for some reason they cannot find our information. They want my email address, phone number and other personal information, which i think is not right. So if you receive a catalog from them, please do not give them any personal information.

We were with AAA for about 30 years and we used AAA service when we had a car that was not so reliable and at that time it worked for us, when the car broke down two times. Fast forward to present and our new car so far has not caused us much trouble. We found a new car service, that covers more than what AAA and it was less expensive. Being seniors and on a tight budget we decided to cancel AAA. When we called and said that we wanted to cancel, the customer rep offered us the same coverage that this other company offers and we declined. The part that bothered me is that when the phone conversation was done, she abruptly and rudely hung up on us, without saying a goodbye or anything. Maybe i am old-fashioned but i thought it was quite rude of her to just hang up without saying anything, not as much as sorry to see you go or enjoy the holiday or anything. I guess that when we had the policy, it was ok to be polite. This is not a big thing but i was kind of taken aback at her phone manners.

Picture this, you are disabled and have a power wheelchair and you are sitting in your dialysis chair getting treatment and you get a phone call from cct connect, which is suppose to be helpful in getting you to and from doctors, dialysis treatments, etc and the dispatcher tells you that because your driver is sick, they cannot pick you up! You then call and then one of the dispatchers tell you to use Uber! Really! How can you when first of all you have a big power wheelchair which uber cannot accomadate and second of all you have no finance's to get Uber! So you are stuck away from home, being totally disabled, and have no one to have the resources to bring you home. Your wife is disabled also and a senior to boot. So you keep calling and asking when you are coming home and everyone says:"we are working on it" sure and i am santa clause. You then ask for a supervisor to call you and he/she never does! What kind of outfit is this. If septa CCT does any secondare business they can go into the fertilizer business because they always give you lots of manure when you need them the most. They would be quite good at it. Why doesn't someone regulate this business. They just run amock. We are stuck because this clowns are the only ones we can use.
