Do not get coverage from ProtectAll. I paid $400 for the "Premium" plan, 5 year coverage for "everything." I filed a claim 3 years later, for damage caused by regular wear and tear. They denied me, because wear and tear isn't something caused by "a single incident." You had to read the fine print to see that, I guess. They would have covered me if I'd stabbed my couch, but not for regular use. This is a scam. Do not support them.

I called to get a punctured fix on my sofa, but I got denied cause the puncture is too big to fix. This is bull$#*! I paid $649.99 for a five year warranty and each time and they cannot help us. They always have excuse that I didn't report it soon enough, but I have a 5 year warranty. They advertise their coverage as protects all from a tear or punctures, liquid accident by kids or pets, but if you read the coverage they are not a cleaning company so they cannot help you.
Such a SCAM. Do not buy protection from them at all.

Stay away from this company. They are terrible. I purchased a multi year protection and on top of saying that they don't cover majority of the issues, these people will not even take care of any issues you have.
I have a claim for a simple cable for a reclining chair that needs to be replaced and I have been chasing it, calling them and running behind a replacement cable for the last 3 months.
This company doesn't deserve to exist.

Purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture. Had some repairs that needed done - manufacturer came out and repaired - no questions asked. Similar issues again- protectall covers NADA. Horrible customer service - require you to send in photos and they make a decision without responding to the customer. You only find out when you call to inquire about an unanswered claim. Don't waste your money...they should be called ProtectNOTHING. Might cover if you set it the couch on fire...but not a seat cushion coming off of the couch. Ridiculous!

I bought a table with 5 years of furniture protection, their name is myprotectall. The paint is discolored all over the table and I ask them to be repaired but their answer is below:
"Accumulation of Stains/Damage - Per the terms and conditions of your protection plan general soiling or gradual buildup or accumulation of stain(s)/damage(s) that cannot be attributed to a single occurrence is not covered. Your protection plan does not eliminate the need for routine care and maintenance of your furniture which shall be your sole responsibility."

Do not buy this protection plan from any furniture store they will say everything to deny every claim. Ashley furniture sells the plan as if it covers anything but it's a lie just to make a commission. If anyone has used them and interested in filing a law suit I'd gladly join. I spent 25k to furnish my apartment and not 1 piece of furniture claim was resolved.

Tip for consumers:
Customer service over the phone don’t know even what they’re talking about , can’t locate email and email response is as slow as a snail or non existent

I had the opposite issue with some of the other reviews. Mine was a single issue, but they denied because it was more than slightly damaged. I think they will only cover things that are so small you wouldn't even ask to have fixed.
I was pretty sure it was a scam, but now I know it is a confirmed scam.

I procured my furniture from Ashlay Lynnwood, initially enticed by their deceptive company plan promising comprehensive coverage for my entire furniture purchase. However, when faced with the necessity to utilize this coverage due to a marker stain caused by my 1-year-old child, I encountered blatant refusal from the company, citing the stain as intentional and thus not eligible for coverage. During the purchase, the exact selling point emphasized coverage for damages caused by children, including any cuts. Yet now, when I am in dire need, they arbitrarily dismiss my claim, dubbing it intentional damage beyond coverage. I feel utterly deceived by Ashlay and subsequently by this insurance company. It's undoubtedly a scam; I strongly advise against purchasing any policy from them as it amounts to nothing but a waste of money. I am determined to cancel the policy and reclaim whatever fraction of my investment I can salvage, though it hardly compensates for the deceit endured.

The customer service is garbage, no one wants to help. I waited 6 months for someone to finally send me an email that they were closing my case. So I had to call and speak with reps who hate their job. The company is garage.

Here is my rant for the day/month/year (hopefully)!
Do NOT use this terrible company! They are awful to work with and even worse to their customers! I have had nothing but issues with them! They are mean when talking to you on the phone, put you on hold constantly, don't help you with your issues, AWFUL company!

Our most recent issue being a tear in the couch that we have been told "isn't covered under the protection warranty". I have been on hold for 6 hours (not exaggerating) with the Protection plan people over the last month. Talked to supervisors, threatened attorneys,,cussed a lot, the whole nine yards. All this to be told "the damage is to extensive", "your husband and you didn't do what you could from it getting worse", "we cover tears and rips but your damage is a whole with tattered fabric".

My question is….if you don't cover this stuff, what DO you cover?!

If I could rate 0 stars I would.
Why am I having to take and send photos here 25 January 2022 when a technician already came to take photos to submit back in October.
The last we talked to someone I was informed parts are being ordered. This company is terrible and makes no sense how much run around we have received regarding getting service and my furniture repaired. We called in end of August/ beginning of September and the technician came out 2 October 21, we shouldn't have to follow up constantly for months. I will be leaving a review and will never purchase this company's extended warranty again.

I'm filing a lawsuit against this scam of a company. I paid $279 for a protection plan on an $8500 rug. It covered pet stains. My dog had an accident and it took many phone calls and emails - 6 weeks later a carpet cleaner shows up, sprays something on it, and ls gone in 15 minutes. The result: the stain is 3X the size that it was. I took photos and the Protect All reps had to admit that the stain was MUCH larger. The rug is now ruined, months go by and no return emails on anything that I sent, no action after phone calls. Nothing. Finally, they approve a replacement of Aug. 25. Aug 27, the store where I bought the rug closes its doors. So now Protect All won't pay for the replacement. I will NOT walk away with a loss of an $8500 rug because Protect All took too long to get someone to get the stain out, and because they continued to neglect this claim, all of my correspondence, etc, the fault, and subsequent responsibility is on Protect All. Really a terrible, terrible company. Don't buy the protection plan from them.

This company is a bogus scam, they do everything to not complete your claim and every one that works there are incompetent and trained to not help you. Trying to get replacement on a stain couch and the cleaning company didn't get it out. Talked to a supervisor after talking to some other lady that hung up on me and refused to help me saying my stain is gone but it's just a discoloration now. Lol what a joke Maria who gives a sh*t about her last name was the supervisor that was totally dumb as a bag of rocks and kept saying the stain was gone but there's just discoloration now that isn't caused by the stain. Like what? Basically doing everything to not help me. Refused to read me the report from the tech after repeatedly asking her. Refuses to send me a copy of it and stumbled on her words. Useless woman and useless company please stay away from this company.

Their service is horrible, they're only interested in the money (premium).when you call it seems like they don't want you to call or file a claim. They'll keep asking you to call back in 3 days, 7 days etc just to get you frustrated and then you stop calling

THEY BASICALLY COVER NOTHING AND THEY LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOU FILE A CLAIM. IT'S NOT WORTH IT, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

I called them continuously for almost a year and excuse I was given "call back in 7 days if you don't hear from us". They never called me back. I called Ashley service department and they called protectall and they said that I wasn't registered and Ashley gave them the info and then they sent me email with claim number and for me to submit photos. I submitted photos and I called for next steps, only to be told the chipped wood in my furniture (cocktail and end tables) was not covered under warranty and this was a manufacturer issue. Never again will I waist money or time with protectall/GBS enterprises.

I purchased a dining room set and a living room set called last year and opened a claim but never submitted it, and now I called; they said it is not covered because I previously opened a claim on the same thing. Even though I never finalized or submitted the claim

We purchased our couch and two rocker recliners one year ago. Upon purchasing our furniture, we also purchased a warranty. On July 27th, we pulled our couch out to lay on the bed. Upon sitting down on the bed, the metal mechanism pictured, bent (with one person) rendering us unable to put the bed back into the couch. We immediately contacted the representatives from Protect All, the insurance company from which we purchased our warranty. Due to the bent metal mechanism, the bed was unable to fold back into the couch and was stuck in an upright position. For this reason, the representative "OK'd" the removal of the bed. It is in Protect All's warranty information that if we 'do not protect the furniture from further damage,' the furniture will not be covered by warranty and the representative was in agreement. The couch being stuck in the upright position would have posed a safety risk to our family and the weight, undoubtedly, would've caused more damage to the cheap metal used to manufacture it. Protect All scheduled a video consultation a week or so later. During the video consultation, the representative apologized and said that the next phone call we would be receiving would be within a week from a technician to schedule a time to come out and repair the couch. The next contact received was over a week and a half later and it was not a phone call. It was a cold email, denying our claim, stating that the reason they wouldn't help was because we "removed the mechanism." Despite getting clearance from the representative on the night it occurred, this is their reason for not honoring the warranty we purchased. I've also tried to contact Ashley HomeStore several times in an effort to get it fixed under their mechanism warranty, which should have been good for 3 years, to no avail. The individuals I have spoken with on the phone have been as equally cold as their emails. Representatives from Protect All, refusing to escalate or transfer your call. Representatives from Ashley promising a return call, without intention of doing so. I believe that if we wouldn't have removed the mechanism, they would have found another reason not to honor the warranty. It's clearly a money game. I will absolutely, without a doubt, never purchase anything from Ashley Home Store, or Protect All again.

If I could give this company zero stars, then I would! I discovered a stain on my couch so contacted ProtectAll after getting their coverage through Ashley Furniture. The website to create a claim didn't work so I contacted them by email. I was able to schedule a technician who was supposed to contact me to set a date. The technician never contacted me so I emailed again, and a date was set (7/15/22).
The technician arrived and told me that the Chaise cover that was stained would have to be replaced. He stated they would send a new cover and it would take 6-8 weeks. On Sept 14th I contact ProtectAll again and after 30 minutes on the phone was told that the part had not been ordered and it would now be ordered and would take abaout 2 weeks and arrive by post. Just contacted them again now (10/3/22) and was told it would take 6-8 weeks from the order date (so about 11/14/22). This is over 4 months from the original contact date to get a new cover and the problem resolved (maybe... we will wait and see).

ProtectAll is NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Their PROTECTION PLAN is a COMPLETE SHAM. I purchased their 5-Year plan for my furnitures in 2021, and it turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The total cost of the plan was a whopping 30% of the cost of the furniture, but what did I get for my money? Absolutely nothing!

When I discovered that the back cushion on one of my barstools had come off, I tried to contact ProtectAll but didn't couldn't find my invoice to validate my purchase. Recently during a move, I found the invoice and contacted ProtectAll to make a claim. However, I was shocked to discover that they had absolutely no record of me in their system. Even after searching using my name and all the information I could provide on the purchase invoice, they could not find me. This confirmed why I had never received any documentation about the benefits and limitations of my protection plan.

ProtectAll instructed me to submit my purchase invoice and pictures of the damages for review, which I did. However, without any response for over a week, I called them again, only to be informed that my entire claim had been denied because I had not made a claim within 30 days. This was a stipulation that I could never have been aware of because I had never received any documentation about it.

To make matters worse, they denied another claim on my dresser, which was unrelated to the cushion damage claim, even though I informed them that I had just discovered the damages. ProtectAll used a technical provision that they never shared to avoid dealing with the problems with my furniture. This is nothing short of a criminal organization disguised as a protection company, making every effort to deny customer claims.

ProtectAll dropped the ball in their system, and should have made an exception in approving my claim. I understand the importance of reading the fine print, but in this case, there was no fine print to read.

Considering using ProtectAll? STAY AWAY!
