After I did some modifications to my resume, Zety informed that it is not for free if I want to save the work done, so I agreed to pay something like 3 CAD for this work. No subscriptions to pay for nothing was done on my side. Nevertheless the platform charged me 35 CAD without any forthcoming messages. I consider it a fraudy actions and require to pay back the money taken from the card. UPD: After I unsubscribed (which was not easy, since Zety is not accessible in Ukraine and I had to wait for the chance to do it from abroad), Zety has refunded half of the monthly fee, which is 17,48 CAD, which I, of course appreciate very much. However, for me this was very unpleasant experience, since the information about automatic charging was not clear during the registration process, but hidden somewhere in the registration letter. This is a (costly) lesson for me (and hopefully free lesson to other) that it is important to read the conditions more careful.

I really liked their function and suggestion to revamp my resume for approximately $3, which would then generate a revamped Resume. I thought I had cancelled the subscription during the "free trial" period, and that it was resolved. I believed I could use the service in the future if there were any changes in my career. However, to my shock, I was charged $35 today without any prior alert, and I've noticed many people have complained about this, labeling it a scam. So, I decided to cancel the subscription. I went to the website and tried over 100 times to request the cancellation of my subscription, but it never went through. It just paused and hung on the same page, yet I could access all other pages on their website, which seemed intentional. I genuinely feel cheated and would like to request a refund. And waiting for their response

I recently changed my primary bank, so this account no longer has a lot of activity. I noticed this transaction and found 20 charges! I never authorized for this company to take monthly payments. And if I signed up how come I have no account with Zety? No e-Mail confirmation? Where are my monthly invoices? I've had the same E-mail address for years. I have been scammed for $453.00 for two years! Zety I need this cancelled immediately!

You pay $2 for a two-week subscription, then try to cancel; the cancellation button DOES NOT WORK. I had to call customer service to get it cancelled, but I can still not remove my card details from the website. Although I have not used the website in a month, Zety charged me $35 without any emails confirming beforehand. So please DO NOT support zety as they are a huge scam.

Signed up for a trial and the company won't help me with payments taking from my account for 12 months without me noticing.

If you're going to sign up for the trial, make sure to set a reminder to cancel the subscription prior to payments coming out.

I asked their Customer Service Team 3 times how much money I will be refunded and they can't give me a straight answer.

Would not use this company ever again.

After entering your information and attaching your credit card, it becomes impossible to remove or delete it. Zety.com continues to charge you even after you've supposedly "canceled" your subscription. The company relies on people forgetting, as I did, and not verifying whether the subscription remains inactive after cancellation. While their resume and motivational letter creation service is effective and worth the price, the subscription cancellation process appears to be a deliberate scam. Due to purported mistakes or technical issues, the cancellation is deemed invalid, resulting in significant monthly charges for a nonexistent service.

I am utterly furious with the deceitful practices of Zety SCAM! After initially paying $2 for a trial over a year ago, I recently discovered that they've been sneakily charging me $23.70 per month without my authorization! I never signed up for any subscription, and attempts to contact them have been met with silence. It's daylight robbery, plain and simple.

Furthermore, I have never received any receipts, confirmations, or any form of documentation typical of legitimate businesses. Your failure to provide such documentation further supports my claim that you are engaging in dishonest practices.

They're shamelessly stealing from me each month without providing an ounce of documentation. This company is a disgrace and a warning to all. Beware!

I've had good experiences having Zety's resume builder. It's prompts and templates are applicable to many job fields. I've used it to jobs in education and well as sales. It may be less beneficial for fields of study such as professional psychology jobs. Certain jobs are so specific on formatting that they may not work as easily with the beautiful template choices from Zety. Ive been able to create and save several resumes and cover letters that stand out among other candidates. I'll be back! Maria made canceling for now very easy and gave me options for changing my plan if I wanted to still keep zety.

They are very sneaky and how they take your money. I paid them $2 whatever they needed to get a simple cover printed.
Months later I realize they are billing me $23.75 per month. I did not even go back to their website and they were still billing me.
I tried to talk reasonably to the person who answered the phone but her only agreement would be she would give me 1/2 discount for the last month but every other month they will not reimburse me.
I would not recommend using this company unless you read all of the fine print.

There's no way that I can cancel the subscription by myself and I call my bank. Now I have to change my bank details. I Had to order a new credit card and individually inform all my associates and clients. Nightmare! There is no possibility for unsubscribing. And their advertised price of $5.75 per month turned out to be misleading. After my trial ended, they charged me 25 eur instead and did that three times, With my stolen 75 eur I wish your boss to buy medicines for his children!

The cancellation button has been deliberately disabled. The novice subscriber would forget and would be charged without his knowledge. There is a reddit page which clearly says how this works

This platform is terrible; it feels like a scam! The subscription cancellation didn't go as expected after the trial, and I was unknowingly charged for months. I requested a refund because there was no activity on my account, but they did not show any willingness to provide a refund. For more than 8 months now, you have been trying to STALL me again!

You debited me for 34 months without MY AGREEMENT.
You've paid me back 24 months.
You continue to give me automatic replies either by email or on Trustpilot.

That just goes to show how ORGANISED you are and how good YOU are at communicating!

Never use this service, whatever you do. Paid a reasonable price for a simple resume template for 14 days and without my knowledge silently started taking $34.95 out of my account. The only way you can tell is by looking at bank statements, no notifications nothing. In the process of getting the money taken out of my account refunded. Subscription button is dodgy and only worked once I removed my adblocker. What kind of button doesn't work with an adblocker enabled? Have also heard from other people that their customer service is terrible and either ignore your calls, messages and emails or just will not help you. Please I wanr you stay away. I'm sure thousands of people are feeling the same way you are feeling if you have been scammed. Additionally, what kind of 14 day paid trial doesn't end after 14 days and starts charging you every 4 weeks after? I hope I get refunded the money I lost and hope this company gets shut down or removes this sly and dishonest act.

You'll pay for a 2 week $2 subscription, and then try to cancel, except the cancel button doesn't actually work and then end up repeatedly taking money from your account each month.
